11072592_10108487113727944_5479066865445741556_nKimberly Kutz Elliott is a historian studying the cultural history and visual culture of the United States in the 19th and 20th centuries.  She earned her Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2013.  She currently serves as Senior Content Creator in the Humanities at Khan Academy.

Kim is currently working on the manuscript of her first book, Resurrecting Lincoln: Abraham Lincoln’s Ghost in American Culture, a history of ways that Abraham Lincoln has been portrayed as ‘living on’ through depictions in photography, theatre, television, robotics, and more.
